How RERA agent verification works in Haryana

Under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016, anyone brokering the sale or purchase of a unit in a RERA-registered project must themselves be registered with the state authority. In Gurgaon that's HARERA Gurugram, and every registered agent gets a certificate with a registration number and a five-year validity.

Three things to check before transacting: the name on the certificate matches the person or firm you're dealing with, the registration is still valid (agents must renew — an expired registration means they cannot legally broker), and the certificate itself matches the registry record — we link the official PDF on every agent page.
